Dehumidifier ratings changed in 2019, and the old and new pint numbers don't mean the same thing. A lot of buying advice still uses the old numbers by mistake. This tool sizes your space with the official Energy Star table and shows how the old ratings translate. Sources on the methodology page.

Energy Star's table stops at 2,000 sq ft. For larger spaces, consider multiple units or a whole-home dehumidifier.
